time magazine recently ran a piece on beer pong's popularity and the negative attention its success has attracted (http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1830420,00.html). should you read the article you will learn the following:
1. you can make $50k for being sick at beer pong
2. there is a game coming out soon for wii called "pong toss" (no longer will getting drunk and playing mario kart suffice; in the future the acts of drinking and gaming will come together as one)
3. time magazine does not discriminate between news and non-news
i, for one, am starkly opposed to any war on beer pong and have written my congressman to tell him so.

You can make 50 grand for being sick at beer pong, but do you know what it takes to compete with the best? Beer pong, like every other activity in the world, has an elite few players who are far better than even above-average players like this blogger (that's a claim - I'll take challenges), and all of the elite few have, of course, released videos on youtube. They are the beer pong equivalent of those ridiculously young and incredible guitar hero kids or Alistair Galpin, world record holder for most-snails-on-the-face, and, in my opinion, will never be beaten by the likes of us.
Also, note that it is officially called "beer pong" - take that all you damn "beirut" elitists.
